Cripps Barn Wedding – Chelsey & Glenn

Beautiful summer wedding at Cripps Barn for Chelsey and Glenn

Chelsey and Glenn started their wedding journey with me waaaay back in 2018! Two years before their wedding date. Sadly like many couples, due to covid they had to postpone. Three dates and a year later we finally got there. And wow was it worth the wait!

Getting ready

Chelsey got ready with her bridesmaids and flower girls at a gorgeous little cottage called Mole End Cottage. It was so beautiful and picturesque with lavender bushes out front in the little garden. One of the bridesmaids, Glenn’s sister was unable to be there as she was stuck in Australia, due to travel restrictions. But we had her on video call throughout the bridal prep so she could be part of the day too. The girls looked absolutely stunning and when it came time for the reveal to her girls and Dad, Jason. Well, I was in tears behind the camera as much as they were! I think the photos speak for themselves.

The Wedding

Family and friends joined both in person and on skype for Chelsey and Glenn’s ceremony. As the ceremony started their daughter Ava-Mae walked down the aisle with a big grin on her face to meet her Daddy. Followed by the other bridesmaids and then the gorgeous Chelsey escorted by her Dad, Jay.

We used a little arch way for the family photos and then the rest of the grounds for their couples photos. With help from one of the groomsmen and one of Glenn’s nephews we even did some smoke photo photos in the corn field just off to the side of the venue. With both jumping into the corn mission impossible style to make sure they weren’t in the back of the photos! You can’t ask for more commitment to a photo really!

A couple embraces in a golden wheat field, with soft smiles and affectionate gazes. Light mist creates a dreamy, romantic atmosphere.

Everywhere around this venue is simply stunning for photos. I was so happy to be asked to do this wedding, from the styling, the flowers and every detail it was just gorgeous! Fingers crossed for another Cripps Barn Wedding. And thank you to the amazing suppliers that I worked with that made it so beautiful!
